Joseph Henry Munlin
(25 Jul 1869 -  26 Feb 1937)

Joseph Henry Munlin was the son of James A. Munlin and Francis Unknown, born in Wadesboro, Anson Co. North Carolina on July 25th 1869.  Joseph married in Wadesboro, Anson Co., N.C. on June 19, 1890 to Hattie Jackson Hutchinson. Joseph and Hattie had one child Stella Bennett, b. ca. 1906.  They also had an adopted child, Lula Belle, b. March 1893. Joseph lived in Wadesboro his entire life.  He worked for a time as a mechanic but later became superintendent of an oil mill for the Southern Cotton Oil Company.  Joseph was ill the last seven years of his life.  He died while taking treatment at the state hospital in Morganton, N.C. on August 30, 1942.  He was buried at the Seago Cemetery at North Wadesboro Baptist Church in Wadesboro, Anson Co., North Carolina.
