John Dixon Munnerlyn

John Dixon Munnerlyn son of Joseph John Munnerlyn and Florence E. Wicker, born January 11th, 1894 in South Carolina. John married Mary "Elizabeth" Waggoman on 24th June 1920. John and Elizabeth had three children, John Evens, b. 1934, Margaret, b. 1921, and Dorothy, b. 1924. John was injured in an accident at his brother Henry's lumber company and taken to the hospital in Florence. It was said that Henry told the doctors there to do what ever it took, fly in specialists, etc., to try and save is life, money was not object. John died from his injuries on December 18, 1956. John was buried at the McCalls Cemetery, Bennettsville, Marlboro Co., S.C.
