James A. Munlin, the

James A Munlin son of James A. Munlin and Francis unknown, born January 1879 in North Carolina, probably Wadesboro, Anson Co. James married Mattie E. Crantz about 1904 most likely in Georgia, around Atlanta. Little is known on this line of Munnerlyns that the name changed to Munlin. James' wife Mattie died in 1926 in Gastonia, North Carolina, and she was buried at the Kempt Cemetery in Atlanta, Georgia. Studying Census records it appears that James and Mattie had at least three children, Ruby, b. 1905, Ruth, b. 1906 and Joe, b. ca. 1911. Ruby married an unknown James and was divorced at the time of her death in 1988. Ruth was recorded as having never married at the time of her death 1995. Don't know anything on Joe. It is not known what became of James after the 1930 census where he was living in Gastonia, North Carolina.
