George Mazon Munnerlyn
(18 Oct 1910 - 17 Oct 1955)
George Mazon Munnerlyn, son of Thomas Mixon Munnerlyn and Hattie Lucinda Errington born October 18th 1910, in the Bullock community, Eastland County, Texas. George died Oct. 17, 1995. Graduated from Breckenridge High School in 1929. George worked in the oilfields until 1938, then moved to a farm in south Stephens county, Texas. Attended Ranger Junior college, drove a school bus, and coached football at Ranger Jr. High. One of the teams he coached in Jr. High won the state championship football game, the only state championship Ranger ever won. George married Vina Mae Rasmussen in 1931. Goerge and Vina had two sons, Keith (b.1932), Larry (b.1939 died of a cerebral hemorrhage in 1968) and one daughter, Karen (b. 1940).
