Josie Elmer Munnerlyn was born in Georgia on the June 12, 1880, the daughter of Charles James Munnerlyn, Jr. and Lucy Otey Branch. Josie never married. She lived the last 20 years of her life in Graham, Texas where her niece Mary Eugenia (Donalson) Howell lived. Josie died at the Garden Terrace Retirement home in Graham, Young Co., Texas on March 5, 1975. She was buried at Oak City Cemetery, Bainbridge, Decatur Co., Georgia.
